The cancellation of Battle of the Bands 2019 was a heavy blow to many. To the bands, it meant countless hours of rehearsal and practice gone to waste; to the fans, it meant not seeing their favorite bands perform live. But the bands decided to take matters into their own hands. With the help of Matteo Marciano, Assistant Head of the NYUAD Music Program, Bands on the Block rose from the ashes of Battle of the Bands.
